Plugin for Paper servers
Minebit Link
Show your open roles to your players, get an in-game alert when someone applies, post new roles to Discord and link your server to your Minebit network.
What it does
Roles in game
/hiring, /jobs, /apply and /minebit list your open roles in chat. Every line is clickable and opens the role on Minebit.
Announcements
Tell everyone online when a new role opens, with a sound. You can also repeat your list on a timer or show it when players join. All of it is off until you turn it on.
Staff alerts
Staff you give a permission get a message and a sound when someone applies. If nobody is online, the next staff member to join gets it.
Discord posts
New roles go to a channel through a webhook. The message is a JSON file, so you can design it in message.style and paste it in.
Server linked badge
Paste a key from your company page and your network shows a Server linked badge once the plugin checks in.
PlaceholderAPI
%minebit_open_roles%, %minebit_network% and %minebit_top_role% for scoreboards and menus.
Private by design
Nothing about your players is ever sent to Minebit. Without a key the plugin only reads your public roles. With a key it also tells Minebit that it is running, its version and whether the server is in online mode, and it asks for new applications. Applicants come back as a display name and a role, never their message or email.
Set up in five steps
- 1Put the jar in your plugins folder and start the server.
- 2Set Network-Slug in plugins/MinebitLink/config.yml to the end of your Minebit network address.
- 3Optional: make a key on your company page and paste it into Link-Key.
- 4Optional: paste a Discord webhook into Discord.Webhook-Url.
- 5Run /hiring reload, then /hiring status to check everything.

Server linkedThe key proves that whoever runs the server also controls the Minebit account. It does not prove who a server's players are, and it works on offline-mode servers too, which Minebit records. It is separate from the Verified employer badge, which we check by hand.
